Brewing

I am a new convert to brewing. Well, 1998 is starting to be some time ago. Fortunately I have had very good instructors and have been able to make a living at it. Especially Brian Hunt at Moonlight Brewing and Lance McLauflin at Downtown Joe's. All of my mentors have gone through the brewing program at UC Davis and the level of expertise taught at this school is wonderful. I have a large library of brewing books and study often.

After 4 years as the assistant brewer at Downtown Joe's in Napa I became the Master Brewer in July of 2003. I am responsible for brewing 100+ 7 bbl batches per year. I am also a product designer for Beer, Beer and More Beer.

I have written articles on brewing and brewing equipment and have given lectures on brewing equipment.
